Originally erected as a showpiece that we visited in Kierkegaards Plads, a harbourside public square in Copenhagen, the structure is now being displayed in various locations over the years in both Denmark and Sweden.In their own writeup, Dome of Visions builds on the ideas of the American futurist and architect Buckminster Fuller. He studied minimalist construction in which the Geodesic Dome is used as an outer façade. He dubbed the Earth as ‘Spaceship Earth” and developed sustainable solutions decades before that concept entered public debate.
