Hello travellers and music lovers. During our recent adventures in Serbia we met up with a couple of talented gentlemen named Davor & Željko, a guitar duo that treated us to several of their tunes they regularly play live at the Marinada Restaurant in new Belgrade.
The song was written by Davor Orozović and his colleague Željko Inić in the early 1990’s. It based on personal tragedy of war when Davor had to flee war-torn Bosnia. The lyrics were written by actress Ljiljana Lasić and were used in a theatrical performance at the time. We hope you enjoy a little bit of history and music from these talented artists.
